Coordinator

As Coordinator for the Davis-Michael Scholars program, Dr. Dailey splits his time between teaching courses in the Animal and Nutritional Sciences dept and advising Davis-Michael Scholars. Dr. Dailey is a WV native and has been with WVU for over 40 years. He remains well-connected to hundreds of former students with careers in a wide variety of disciplines, including veterinary medicine. Dr. Dailey recognizes legacy students as well as first-generation students and sees the potential in every student.

Margaret Minch, DVM

Davis-Michael Veterinarian

Dr. Minch serves as an advisor and mentor for students in the Davis-Michael Scholars program. She is a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and teaches upper-level courses within the Animal and Nutritional Sciences dept. In addition to helping students with their course scheduling, Dr. Minch is very knowledgeable about veterinary school requirements. She mentors our students, writes letters of recommendations and provides advice on how to write the best veterinary school application.

Renee Conneway

Program Manager

Renee provides all of the administrative and technical support for the Davis-Michael Scholars program. She is responsible for scheduling program activities, coordinating the Davis-Michael Tutoring Program and awarding Davis-Michael scholarships. Additionally, she maintains a data base of Davis-Michael Scholars, and tracks them throughout their career.
